Florida State wide receiver Hykeem Williams out for Georgia Tech game
Star wide receiver exits game with undisclosed injury
Williams questionable for remainder of season
Florida State football will be without wide receiver Hykeem Williams for Saturday's game against Georgia Tech. Williams, who leads the Seminoles in receiving yards this season, suffered an undisclosed injury in the team's last game.
The severity of Williams' injury is unknown, but he is expected to miss at least one game. The Seminoles are already thin at wide receiver, so Williams' absence will be a major blow to the team's passing attack.
Williams has been one of the most productive wide receivers in the ACC this season. He has caught 30 passes for 450 yards and four touchdowns. His absence will put more pressure on other receivers, such as Ontaria Wilson and Ja'Khi Douglas, to step up.
The Seminoles are coming off a 35-14 loss to Wake Forest. They will need to win their remaining games in order to become bowl eligible.
