Former UNC Linebacker Tomon Fox Returns to New York Giants Practice Squad
Fox played in four games for the Giants in 2022
Former UNC linebacker Tomon Fox has returned to the New York Giants practice squad, the team announced Tuesday. Fox, who was a member of the Giants' active roster for four games in 2022, was released by the team in August.
Fox was a standout performer at UNC
Fox was a standout performer at UNC, where he was a three-year starter and earned All-ACC honors twice. He finished his college career with 223 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks.
Fox has also played for the Cleveland Browns and Carolina Panthers
After going undrafted in 2021, Fox signed with the Cleveland Browns and spent the season on their practice squad. He was signed by the Carolina Panthers in 2022 and was waived during final roster cuts.
